Alpine sustainability achievements recognised by a silver Ecovadis medal

Alpine Fire Engineers EcoVadis Silver Medal

To celebrate Earth Day 2024, we are thrilled to announce we have been recognised for our sustainability achievements, being awarded a silver rating medal by EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised assessment platform that rates businesses’ sustainability based on four key categories: environmental impact, labor, and human rights standards, ethics, and procurement practices.

Our silver rated medal reflects that we are within the top 15% of companies that have been assessed during the past 12 months.

In line with our core competency of Continual Improvement we have a responsibility to continually review our sustainability practices, however this recognition serves as an indicator of the positive changes we have made to improve our sustainability management, performance and drive impact.

The theme of Earth Day 2024 is our planet vs plastics, here at Alpine we support recycling initiatives and take care to preserve our environment.

We’ve reduced plastic consumption throughout our company by equipping each team member with a reusable Alpine branded water bottle upon their induction. Furthermore, we actively encourage the recycling of all plastics across our facilities.

We’re also committed to giving back to our local community by joining clean-up initiatives annually, dedicated to clearing waste from our surrounding environments.

And last but by no means least! We have launched a campaign to save 4 billion litres of water a year, read more about the campaign here – The Alpine Fire Campaign.
