In single-interlock pre-action systems, a prior detection event allows the normally dry pipework to charge with water, reducing the delay associated with traditional dry pipe operation.
In double-interlock systems, water is released only when both a detection event and sprinkler head activation occur, providing an additional layer of control similar to a deluge configuration while retaining sprinkler-level precision.
