We’re proud to share that Alpine Fire Engineers has once again achieved the EcoVadis Silver Medal, recognising our continued commitment to embedding sustainability across our business.
In our latest EcoVadis assessment, we achieved a score of 73/100, an improvement on last year’s result, placing Alpine in the top 13% of companies globally within our industry.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading sustainability ratings platforms, assessing companies across key areas including environmental performance, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Achieving Silver status again reflects the steady progress we’re making as we continue to strengthen our sustainability practices.

Strengthening Our Environmental Impact
Environmental performance remains a major focus for Alpine. Our latest assessment recognised the progress we have made through the development of our Net Zero strategy, alongside improved emissions reporting and carbon reduction initiatives across the business.
These efforts are part of our broader ambition to reduce our environmental footprint while supporting the transition to a lower-carbon future.
Protecting Our People
Our EcoVadis results also highlighted strong performance in labour and human rights, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating a positive and supportive working environment.
We continue to invest in initiatives that promote colleague wellbeing, engagement and professional development, ensuring our teams have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
Governance That Supports Responsible Growth
Governance is an important foundation for our sustainability strategy. The assessment recognised our clear ESG policies and governance frameworks, supported by oversight from our dedicated ESG committee.
These structures ensure that sustainability remains integrated into decision-making and business operations across Alpine.
Developing a Sustainable Supply Chain
Another important area of progress has been the development of our sustainable supply chain programme. Over the past year we have increased engagement with suppliers and strengthened our approach to responsible sourcing, helping to improve sustainability performance across our wider value chain.
Looking Ahead
Insights from this year’s EcoVadis assessment will help inform the development of our FY27 ESG roadmap, guiding the next phase of our sustainability journey.
“Retaining our EcoVadis Silver rating reflects the progress we have made in strengthening governance, improving supply chain engagement and building the foundations of our ESG programme. As we move into FY27, our focus is on continuing to embed sustainability across the business and working collaboratively with our colleagues, suppliers and clients to deliver meaningful and measurable progress.”
— Rebecca Grant, Sustainability and ESG Lead
While retaining our Silver rating is an important milestone, our focus remains on continuous improvement and delivering meaningful progress as we continue to embed sustainability across everything we do.
