Prologis 100 Challenge – How collaboration and community impact go hand-in-hand.

On 11th September, Alpine proudly supported the Prologis 100 Challenge, a community-driven event that brings together teams, charities and local supporters for a day of purpose.

Held in Bicester, the challenge saw participants take on challenges that included a 100km or 100-mile bike ride, as well as a 100-furlong hike (approximately 12.5 miles). All of their efforts were designed to raise funds and awareness for three incredible charities: The Brain Tumour Charity, Dementia UK, and LandAid.

As part of our commitment to community collaboration, Alpine contributed £2,500 to support the event and the participants, including three of our own directors: Mark Thewlis (Operations Director), Richard Bradley (Commercial and Procurement Director), and Rob Brennan (Technical Director).

This event is just one example of the partnership between Alpine and Prologis. Over the years, we’ve worked together on numerous successful projects, including the standout development at DC2 Hams Hall, which is now entering its second phase. These continued collaborations reflect our shared values of innovation, sustainability, and community impact.

“The Prologis 100 Challenge is all about bringing people together to make a meaningful difference.” Said Paul Weston, Regional Head, Prologis UK. “Alpine’s support – both in sponsorship and participation – truly exemplifies collaboration. Their contribution helped us raise vital funds for three incredible charities, and we’re incredibly grateful for their partnership.”

Mark Thewlis, Operations Director at Alpine said:
“At Alpine we believe we have a responsibility to support the communities we operate in. The Prologis 100 Challenge was a fantastic opportunity to do just that – combining teamwork, purpose, and a shared commitment to giving back. We’re proud to have walked alongside Prologis and to support such impactful charities.”
