In order to meet the increased demand in online shopping John Lewis expanded their distribution network at Magna Park, Milton Keynes. Alpine had previously delivered the MP2 £2 million project on time and on budget and were therefore the provider of choice.

Brief

The MP3 project was intended to store white goods and electronic equipment. The Insurers – Aviva – specified a BS EN 12845 design standard.

Solution

The system comprised of high-density roof level sprinklers, in-rack, mezzanine and office protection. The design was supplemented with AFFF foam enhancement due to the presence of polypropylene tote storage.
