Food production sites are often extremely complex with valuable stainless-steel plant, storage vessels and pipe runs throughout.

Brief

The AG Barr project comprised a 230,000 square feet of production area and 130,000 square feet of fully racked warehouse. The intricate mezzanine floors with stainless steel pipe runs required a detailed and accurate design.

Solution

The sprinkler pipework provided across the site is a combination of stainless steel and BS EN 10255 steel. Alpine were also responsible for the installation of a 60 minute rated fire curtain to separate the production ESFR sprinkler system from the conventional roof level sprinkler system.
