The Porsche team were looking to work with a Sprinkler provider familiar with the challenges of the automotive sector and engaged with Alpine due to our previous project experience.

Brief

The project specification highlighted the need to consider stored hazardous goods with an NFPA design requirement in order to meet the needs of the insurer XL Group.

Solution

In order to meet the specific requirements the sprinkler specification consisted of roof level sprinklers together with an in-rack system. In addition, sprinkler protection was provided to the lower level hazardous good areas.
